Miles Kane started his career as a guitar player when he was only 18 playing in the band The Little Flames. After the departure of some of the members of the band, they decided to change the name to The Rascals and Miles started performing as a singer -as well as playing- for the first time. They toured as a support band for Artic Monkeys and Alex Turner, bandleader and a good old friend of Miles, proposed starting a superband that is still active today as a side project of both musicians.
It was in 2009 when Miles Kane decided to focus on his solo career. After a tour, he abandoned The Rascals, determined to find the best producers for his own work. That same year, Miles, signed up with a big label and only a year after he releases his first album Inhaler.
Miles arrived at our Furious studio to perform a powerful acoustic cover of Don´t Forget Who You Are, the title track of his second album. According to him, this song is a reminder about keeping your feet on the ground – now he has the industry and audience’s attention – and a reminder of who he is… apparently he knows really well, the song was done in one single take and we were astonished and impressed by who Miles is.
