Mies van der Rohe’s “less is more” applies perfectly to Cavalo, the first solo album by Rodrigo Amarante, where the Brazilian musician returns to the essential and the most intimate things, both for sounds and lyrics. In this album, silences and pauses are as important as chords and words.
For The Furious Sessions, Rodrigo Amarante offers an acoustic version of Irene, a song in which inevitably arises the “saudade”.
We don’t want to use adjectives to describe this session, although we can tell you that having Rodrigo in the studio, listening to his music and talking with him was an unforgettable experience.
Let everyone enjoy this session their own way, cheers!
